Antarctica, early autumn. Polar researchers must tow the tractors from Vostok Station to Mirny Station. 1,500 kilometers, 30 days of travel—but no one has ever returned to Mirny at this time of year… Unless the tractors are brought back to Mirny, Vostok Station will be mothballed for an entire year, because it will have no fuel. So the only solution is to drive the equipment across. Starting this trek, the polar crew still doesn’t know what technical and natural difficulties they will have to face.
