Cyberia. The Possessed

This world was similar to ours, but at some point someone’s appeal to otherworldly forces turned Siberia—here called Sayberia—into an even harsher land, and the opened Eye of Winter made survival extremely difficult there. This is only possible for the Gifted—people endowed with supernatural abilities. They live and rule on this edge of the Russian Empire—a land considered cursed, yet it attracts others with its wealth and resources.

The soul of a person from our world accidentally ended up under a resurrection ritual performed in the Sayberia world. Our transmigrated hero finds himself in the body of Bogdan, the illegitimate son of Prince Vasilevsky. Settling into an alternative world won’t be easy, but here he is helped by a special gift of the Trickster. It consists in the fact that the hero can copy the gift of any person he comes into contact with.

In the third book, Bogdan faces a continuation of the struggle with his inner monster. The name of the creature is Albys. Being obsessed with it is a side problem for the hero—and a kind of “payment” for the gift he received.
