In the MMORPG game “Crossroads,” no player could match Diablo in strength and strategy—the player everyone else often called “the Demon King.” In reality, however, Diablo is Takuma Sakamoto, a recluse who has devoted several years to the game and knows almost everything about it.

One day, under strange circumstances, Takuma comes to his senses on a strange altar surrounded by two lovely girls who were arguing among themselves about who summoned him.

After looking around, Takuma understood he had ended up in the “Crossroads” world—and had become the character he used to play! But instead of a successful summoning ritual and subjugation of Diablo, everything turns out exactly the opposite: the panther-girl and the elf end up being the ones who are subordinates.
