There were twelve of them—twelve enormous diamonds of extraordinary purity and clarity, named after the signs of the Zodiac. But gradually, the unique collection’s exhibits were lost, scattered across the world: billionaires and the largest collectors possessed diamonds from the legendary “Zodiac” collection. No one expected that the “Zodiac” stone—an invaluable “Aquarius”—would be found in one of the capital’s medical clinics.
