The Wave Conqueror

A small backpack is all the luggage of Siberian man Zhenya Fedorov as he gets on a train to Adler. He is running from guilt, from a father who blames his son for the death of his mother, from an unsuccessful marriage, and from useless work. In a rented little room with no amenities, he found many books about healthy living and psychology—thanks to which he can start a new life. But the biggest obstacle on the way to himself is fear. Fear that it won’t work out, the dread of stepping away from accepted standards, the fear of trusting himself and his own sensations. Starting to do surfing, Zhenya overcomes himself again and again, defeats his inner critic, and reaches a new level—becoming a free and strong person, finding love and his calling.
