More than a year has passed since human civilization ended its own life by suicide. The war of the surviving superpowers is still smoldering somewhere far away. And in Western Siberia, a battle of its own is brewing.

In the town of Podgorny, a community led by retired Major Demyanov has organized something like peaceful life. But peace for those who survived the nuclear blaze is only a dream. Very soon they will again have to defend their right to live and to their harvest.

Trouble will come again from the south. Only this time it won’t be a mere clash with bandits—it will be a real civil war. To survive, they will have to walk the bloody roads of fratricidal slaughter.
