Hour of Wandering

Sixty years ago, the world died in a fire of a world war. But that was the end only for those who burned alive in nuclear flame or died under rubble. For the descendants of the survivors, everything was only beginning. More than half a century later, in the remaining habitable corners of the Earth, new “dark ages” reign. Barbarians, nomads, isolated villages, city-states. But from the chaos after the war, the first proto-empires are already starting to appear—feudal or slave-owning. Humanity will prove once again that everything new is the well-forgotten old—stepping onto the well-worn path toward a familiar future. And as before, the lives of people who happen to be on the path of the powerful are worth not a penny.
