The third book of the novel “Victory” continues the narration of two of the most important events of world historical significance—the Potsdam Conference, where the problems of the postwar arrangement of the world were decided, and the Helsinki meeting on ensuring international security—separated in time but inseparable in essence. Here again the reader will meet prominent statesmen, who were faced with the responsibility of making decisions vitally necessary for all peoples on Earth. In the third book, the story of the personal fates of the Soviet journalist Mikhail Voronov and his American colleague in the profession, Charles Bright, will be completed.
