On the Trail of Pink Pollen

Magical Russia, not-so-distant future.
On her wedding day, Katya Platonova’s fiancé, Sasha, is arrested: he’s accused of murdering a friend. The investigation finds that last night he was with the deceased.

Katya doesn’t want to even consider betrayal, but reality is far darker: Sasha came to the girl because of a risky deal. He was trying to get hold of the forbidden “pink pollen” — a magical powder capable of curing magical ailments.

Following the clues Sasha left behind before his detention, Katya uncovers a secret from his family. And she realizes: prison isn’t the main threat. One of the elementals has long set a trap for them, and framing Sasha is only the first move in his game…

“An delightful blend of a magical detective story and warm urban fantasy. Here, magic lives in the details; behind every corner there’s a miracle, and love becomes the strongest talisman. A living world where dragons live alongside bears, elementals, and necromancers. A clever, ironic, and very touching story about how to not only save the world, but also not lose yourself.” — Nani Kronotskaya, leader of the writers’ association “The League of ‘Smart Tales’”, author of the series “Laska. Medicine Against Time”
