Time Paradox

While Artemis Fowl was saving demons on Gibras, life at home went on as usual. Upon returning, the young genius discovered that in his three years of absence he’d acquired two little twin brothers. His parents are happy to have their son back again—but the family idyll doesn’t last long: Artemis’s mother falls seriously ill. It turns out this is an extremely rare case of charotropy—a terrible disease that a few years earlier nearly wiped out the whole magical people. But for a human to catch charotropy is simply unheard of! After all, the illness is transmitted through magic. Apparently, the deadly virus has mutated, and if it isn’t stopped now, the danger threatens not only the magical people but all of humankind.
