Memory of Stone

They want to turn an old, no longer used hospital building into an attraction with augmented reality. Ominous corridors with crumbling plaster have already been written into the adventure scenarios, and the program code is ready, at the right moment, to show the player a ghost of a maniac doctor to add extra chills. The system is almost debugged, and the project developers are rushing to present it to investors and start earning money—yet during the final stage of testing something unexpected happens: one of the players sees what wasn’t included in the script, and falls into a stupor that doctors can’t pull them out of. What is it—an unpredictable reaction of the psyche or sabotage by project opponents? Or maybe what lives here doesn’t like such games? Old buildings have their own secrets. And these secrets will be revealed again by employees of the Institute for Research of the Unexplained—always risking their own lives.
