Life goes on as usual. Bell, rapidly increasing his stats, begins to descend deeper and deeper into the dungeon—and finally encounters the most trivial problem that arises for any adventurer: how to carry all the countless trophies obtained from monsters. Because the deeper you go, the longer it takes to return—meaning more battles, and thus more precious loot. And being overloaded clearly makes it harder to fight at full strength, which is deadly dangerous.
That’s where the “helpers” come in. Hated by adventurers and not participating in battles, they are responsible only for dividing up the corpses and for carrying the baggage—for a modest fee. And so, by a chain of circumstances, Bell—the convinced loner—ends up face-to-face with a young short girl in a hood…
