Ned Henry, a working man, almost falls asleep on the move and needs rest. It’s tough work—he has to shuttle between the 21st century and the year 1940, taking part in a project to restore the famous Coventry Cathedral, destroyed over a hundred years ago during World War II in a Nazi air raid. Everything would be fine, except that the bold Verity Kindl—another time traveler—carelessly pulled something out of the past. Now Ned must urgently return to the Victorian era and help Verity put things back in order, so the project can be saved and tragic changes in history prevented.
