The current authorities kept silent about the mournful anniversary of the beginning of the Second Chechen War. The author considers this behavior shameful. In addition, I wrote a series titled “Don’t go serve in the infantry!”—because propaganda presents the matter in such a way that people who don’t know anything imagine that anyone fought, but not the infantry. This is dedicated to everyone who served in motorized rifle and tank regiments, to everyone who carried the burden in the infantry—and with the infantry. The book is not only about war, but also about life. It is based on real events. The characters are the result of the author’s imagination; any coincidence with real people is purely accidental.
