The Season of Catastrophes began.
At first, everything seemed simple and clear: 2015, Earth enters the Season of Catastrophes, and to survive, humanity needs to understand how and why those or other global events happen. That’s why quest groups are sent into anomalous zones. Their primary task is to search for rifts in the spatio-temporal continuum and the related “packages”—artifacts that, according to the Center for Studying Catastrophes leadership, could become the key to many mysteries of the changing world.
In these zones, “our” side faces enemies called “the greys,” about whom even less is known than about the zones themselves—but who, just in case, should be destroyed as well. There’s also a whole swarm of unidentified unclean things and extremely harsh natural conditions. But that’s only at first. In reality, everything turns out much more complex and ambiguous.
