We Believe! The Transition

The Aarn Order fell—this terrible war was named “The War of the Fall.” The Aarn seemed to vanish from the inhabited galaxy, carrying away the ideals and dreams of those who didn’t want to live for pettiness and greed, who didn’t want to turn into complacent fodder-chewing animals. But the Aarn were not gone only at first glance. In truth, they remained—unable to abandon those who once believed in them. At the risk of their lives, they dissolved into the ranks of warriors, industrialists, priests, scholars, and engineers, so they could continue their mission.

New allies joined the Order—sometimes ones whom the Aarn never expected to attract, who had been enemies before: fierce, ruthless enemies. A secret war spreads across planet after planet: a war for minds and hearts of intelligent beings, a war for a bright future.
