Any bridge is the work spent on creating closeness between people. In the extreme case, the bridge is indifferent to how far apart in space, time, or type of reality those it must connect are. But building and maintaining a working condition of the ultimate engineering structure is not an easy task.

Once there was a person who imagined a wife for herself—one who could withstand everything that the future promised him. Only he forgot to ask the question: will his future, his very reality, withstand this woman? What will happen to him himself? And will the Bridge hold?
