There are rumors that a witch lives in the abandoned pioneer camp “Luchiki” from Soviet times. Attempts to build a comfortable tourist base or a rest house there end in tragedy: something keeps collapsing, things catch fire, and people die… Tim’s parents are sure they met this witch when they were children and rested at “Luchiki.” That day they survived only by miracle: the entire squad together with the pioneer leader and the motorist drowned in the river during a boat trip.
Since then, Tim’s mother has been tormented by terrifying dreams that come on the anniversary of the tragedy: the witch threatens to take her son away from her.
To save his mother from the nightmares—proving to her that witches don’t exist—Tim goes to the abandoned pioneer camp. He is convinced that in all tragic events, in the past and in the present, there must be a real culprit, and that every oddity has a rational explanation. But keeping your sanity isn’t so easy when you face the witch face to face.
