I, Viola Tarakanova, set off on a cruise aboard the steamer “The Flying Impostor” together with my boyfriend, Yura Shumakov. The ship was chartered by his uncle, Vasily Samoylov, for the employees of his confectionery factory, whom he supposedly desperately wanted to see as one friendly family… In vain I believed in this idyll! It turned out that the competitors stole Samoylov’s idea for a new kind of candy, and he decided—during the vacation—to expose the traitor. Before we could even look for the candy thief, Yura and I had to investigate the sudden death of the girls from the orphanage supervised by Samoylov’s wife. And soon, terrifying mutant monsters appeared on our “Flying Impostor”… And, apparently, to finish the poor Viilka off for good, the cook—who turned out to be my former classmate—declared that our trip is a route to hell!
