An engineer rides home to his family, but suddenly dies in a car accident. Life after death takes the form of participation in a virtual game, with strict restrictions set for him—failure to follow them will lead to final death. But if the hero passes the trials, he’ll get a chance to return to his family. The initial location is the newbie haven. Is it really as safe as the players naïvely expect? Can technical survival skills help in a world of elves and dwarves, monsters and vampires? Will other players reach out to help a newcomer who finds himself in trouble—or are you only supposed to expect a stab in the back from them?
