Private detective Tatyana Ivanova is approached by Yuri Kozelchik, formerly the city’s most talented burglar. Kozelchik’s apartment was robbed, and he wants to find the thief. The case is complicated by the fact that the criminal must be identified before the client’s wife returns from the sanatorium.
But it’s not so easy to do: Yuri gives the minimum information about the robbery and forbids an inspection of the crime scene. What’s behind this heightened secrecy? And who could have opened the door equipped with super-modern electronic locks without damaging it?
