Strange things happen in the dark, ominous territories known as the Wild Lands. The cases are not only strange but downright terrifying… Rare human settlements that somehow managed to survive in the cursed lands and resist the dark goblins and the undead are destroyed one after another by Taris the Necromancer. The inhabitants are killed, turned into howling filth, and thrown to the undead as food. Blood flows like a river. But this is only the beginning. Taris, the Necromancer—the last of an almost extinct imperial dynasty—has special, much greater plans. And one of his main goals is to find the hated Coris—the one who once laughed heartily at the helpless Taris, imprisoned in an unbreakable tomb. The Wild Lands are vast, but the ancient necromancer managed to reach the outpost of bold dwarves and men led by Baron Coris. Inexorable granite cliffs protect the settlement reliably, but on Taris’s side are extensive knowledge of necromancy and an army of dark goblins thirsting for blood… The siege has begun…
