The main character gets caught up in a bad situation. His life is threatened, and a mysterious stranger convincingly tells him he’s “not long for this world.” Then he offers an alternative: move to another world. The hero has to agree—and ends up in a world that exists by the rules of a game. The Sergeant (that’s the nickname the hero chose) is accompanied by a kitten that accidentally ends up in this world with him. The hero doesn’t realize how important this little pet is for him, because it’s thanks to the kitten that he achieves big success in his development in the new world. Here, a comfortable life isn’t in the cards. The location is fully controlled by the Pharaoh clan, who lure new players into slavery by deception, and only the “Kuzmich’s Shelter,” lost in the woods, retains the status of an independent village. But life there isn’t easy. You have to constantly repel monster attacks. And the Sergeant turns out to be one of those who not only can do it, but can also help the settlers use the monsters for their own purposes. Want the details? They’re in the audiobook!
