Pirates also had to get to the Planet of Fairy Tales. But not just to get there— they had to obtain a big space ship.
No one on Earth knew that the Planet of Fairy Tales had been captured by a pirate gang for a month already.
The pirates were flying for a completely different job, but their ship broke down, and they had to land somewhere to repair it. That’s how the Planet of Fairy Tales ended up in their path.
When the pirates climbed out of the ship, they were terribly surprised—and even frightened—because how could it not be scary to see a three-headed Dragon talking to you in a human voice, or Baba Yaga in a well with a broom? The fairy-tale creatures were happy about the pirates, because they thought the pirates had flown in to visit them.
But things didn’t go that way. As soon as the pirates realized they had nothing to fear, they attacked dragons, gnomes, forest spirits and water spirits—then they imprisoned the fairy-tale king and Sleeping Beauty in Aladdin’s cave, while themselves began looting the planet and hauling everything to one place. That’s the kind of character pirates have!
They stripped the planet clean and were already getting ready to fly back to their own—yet it turned out they couldn’t repair the ship.
They couldn’t just stay on the Planet of Fairy Tales forever!
