Alice has already moved on to the third grade. At the start of her holidays, she decided to conduct an experiment to find out how smart the dolphins are, with whom she’s been friends for a long time. After the experiment fails with the dolphins, Alice isn’t discouraged: she meets a film robot—a grandfather “Tudy-Syudy”—and goes on film shoots to the Black Sea. And that’s where the adventures begin—Alice and the film-robo grandfather are kidnapped by a combat robot dreaming of ruling the world…
The novella plays with the use and non-use of Asimov’s laws of robotics, as well as the hypothesis that dolphins are intelligent.
