Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Severov of the Russian Federation Air Force (VKS), having landed in the Great Patriotic War, excellently carried out a special mission in Egypt. His successes are noticed even by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, who assigns the pilot command of a formation tasked with front-line tests of the newest types of aviation equipment and weapons and the tactics of their use.
Ships of the German and Italian fleets become targets for Soviet pilots, but the enemy is still strong. Severov’s division is headed for an operation to destroy the top leadership of Nazi Germany, which should bring the long-awaited Victory in the Great Patriotic War closer. But will our pilots have enough courage and skill to carry out the most complicated bombing runs deep in the enemy’s rear?
