Emperor Paul I was saved from death by a group of FSB special forces. How she ended up from the 21st century to the 19th century is unknown—but the fact remains: people from the future actively interfered in the course of historical events. The plot in our history that ended with the assassination of the Tsar failed. A British squadron under Admiral Nelson was utterly defeated at Revel, and the First Consul of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, signed an alliance treaty with Russia—after which the combined Russian-French forces began preparing for a campaign to India. Seeing a mortal threat looming over it, Britain does everything to prevent that campaign from happening. Everything is used—attempts on members of the imperial family, bribery, slander. But the opponents of Foggy Albion are also ready to counter the crafty enemy.
