Young Roland is the last noble knight in a world that has “shifted off its axis.” No matter what it takes, he must find the Dark Tower—the very center of Power, the cornerstone of reality. But before that, Roland must, as the Tarot cards say, go to modern America to search for helpers. Together they will be able to resist the dark forces and continue the difficult journey to the Tower…
From the performer:: After a long break, everything finally came together—the way it should—so we returned to the Dark Tower. I hope that after this it will go easier.
What is the second volume of the famous saga about? Before his death, the sorcerer prophesied to Roland that he would have to acquire companions in order to reach the Tower. Their symbols became three Tarot cards: “The Prisoner,” “The Mistress of Shadows,” and “Death” (“…but not yet for you, Strider”). To meet them, the Strider will have to visit our world—its North American (and who would have thought!) part. That’s the gist. But in practice, everything is exciting and unusual—well, that’s to be expected: fantasy and King in one package.
