Honorik and the Seven Wonders of the World

Makar Veselov is happy: at last his parents bought a summer house—and in an amazing settlement called Seven Miracles of the Light! But on the very first day of the long-awaited vacation it turns out that Makar, his older sister Sonya, and his younger brother Ladoshka won’t get rest—they’ll have to search for their pet, a honorrik named Nyuk.

The kids understand that Nyuk could have been kidnapped by any of their unusual neighbors—either the owner of a collection of microscopes and telescopes, the lady who runs a menagerie with exotic animals, the strange airship pilot, or someone else…?

To save Nyuk from deadly danger, Makar has to use a snort powder, keep an eye on the otter and the monitor lizard, and fly over the settlement in a balloon… And yet he wouldn’t have been able to unmask the unknown villain if Nyuk himself hadn’t helped his owner. No wonder the kids consider the honorrik the eighth wonder of the world!..
