In the previous book, Sergey Kramtsov escaped from captured zombie-ridden Moscow and assembled a reliable team for a dangerous expedition into a closed military laboratory. But leaving is still too soon—Moscow has enormous supplies left. It’s necessary to refit the transport, obtain weapons and ammunition, and do a lot more besides. And the army command in whose territory Kramtsov moved the base asks him to take part in some events.
