The world is divided in two. There is the front side, which everyone sees, and there is the reverse. On that side, dead houses wait for dead people, and only the undead and the two-souled can get there.

Not so long ago, student Nika Borodina had no idea the two-souled even existed. Now, she is friends with one of them—and in love with another. Nika has gained her own second soul—Arsenika. Arsenika, cunningly, left Nika on the reverse side of the city. Now Nika’s friends are ready for anything to bring her back to the front side. But Arsenika also intends to keep living someone else’s life. Who of them will have to give in?
