Jacob Huntu is eighteen years old, and he has a severe form of autism. He has communication problems and perceives information too literally. However, he has mathematical abilities and is interested in forensics. With the help of an illegal police scanner, he helps police find crime scenes and suggests directions for investigation. He’s usually right. But when a brutal murder occurs, the police turn to Huntu.

Because of his autism, Jacob raises suspicions among detectives, who take his strange behavior as a sign of guilt. For his mother, this is yet another piece of evidence that society is intolerant; for his younger brother, it’s a reminder of the difficult situation in their family caused by Jacob’s illness. Now the question is: did Jacob commit the murder?
