The Lives of Christopher Chant

English writer Diana Wynne Jones is considered the last great storyteller. Based on her bestseller “Howl’s Moving Castle,” the famous animator Hayao Miyazaki made an eponymous animated film. Every one of the worlds she creates is astonishing and unique! Christopher Chant has extremely busy parents: his father, a magician, disappears at work from morning till night, while his mother—a witch—holds one reception after another. They don’t get along at all, but they agree on one thing: both are sure their son has a great future ahead.
