Caught in the middle of the February Revolution in the body of Nicholas II’s brother, a man from our time must—in order to save Russia from the chaos of unrest and the looming Civil War—organize and lead an actual uprising, seizing the levers of power in the country and acting in the name of the exiled Nicholas II. Trying to save the monarch and the empire, he accepts the crown himself and becomes the new All-Russian Emperor Mikhail the Second.

The revolution retreats, stability is restored. But the price is high—he promised too much to too many. He announced reforms that were too radical. He stood in the way for too many. And now a group of top officials of the old elite gathers to overthrow the new tsar, returning the throne to the “legitimate emperor.” The plot and the uprising threaten the time traveler and catastrophe for the entire country. Russia stands on the threshold of a terrible Civil War…
