Word and Purity: A Glimmer

Alexander Zaitsev’s books are interesting, among other things, because the author with great love and deep knowledge describes cold weapons and techniques for handling them.

We present the audio version of the novel “Reflections.” This is the fourth book in the popular series “Word and Purity,” written at the intersection of bojаръ-anime and transmigration.

The main character is a military correspondent with experience working in hot spots and a passion for fencing instilled in him by his wife, a Master of Sports. The hero dies right at the beginning of the book and finds himself in the body of a teenager living in another world. The teenager is not simple—he is a reig, a warrior of the fracture. In other words, he can move into a parallel space where, for the main world, he becomes practically invulnerable. Each reig has a blade directly connected to the owner’s personality and influencing him. The fracture hides all sorts of dangers: it constantly spits out unknown monsters, and it is the duty of the reigs to defend their world—even at the cost of their own lives.

Being trapped in a чужий shell makes the hero unique. He has two blades instead of one: the first belongs to his former self, the second to the new one. Their names are Word and Purity. One does not tolerate lies, the other is always ready to stand up for the weak. The hero quickly adapts to his new world and tries to understand why monster invasions are happening.

In the fourth book, the story continues. The world the hero finds himself in has existed for centuries by its own rules. What will the attempts to break established traditions and push their own rules lead to? Find out in the audiobook!
