American performer Alice comes to Moscow to take part in a Russian production of a famous Broadway musical. At first, the comparison of Moscow and New York reminds her of the game “Find ten differences.” But soon Alice’s life goes beyond the game of the stage and the bohemian entertainments. Moscow contains too many different feelings in itself… Alice suspects that the city served as the same “container of feelings” in the 1920s, when her grandmother’s youth took place. She keeps remembering her grandmother’s stories about her life—bright as fireworks—while in Russia. Because events begin happening to her here as well—events that completely change her life…
