Civilization perished in the fire of a terrorist attack. 90% of adults died, 9% became zombies whose brains nanites slowly restore, turning life into a computer game where the level grows when you absorb nanites from other people’s bodies. And only 1% remained normal. The first freezes have ended. But the worst is still ahead, because everyone is trying to survive no matter what.
