A gray-haired man, who has miraculously escaped the dungeons of Yarl, runs south together with his companions—Kudryavy and the mysterious Old Man—to the forbidden lands where the Last Battle once took place. There, they will have to face not only an ancient and alien power, but also gain new allies, and come face to face with forgotten secrets of the past.

Meanwhile, Sokol, once the great Leader of the Liberation Army, finds himself in a cage owned by his sworn enemy—Yarl. He is in for humiliation, betrayal by those close to him, and an unexpected escape that will once again connect him with those he believed were lost forever.

At the same time, the Kid—an almost omnipotent mage who has lost his Mentor—enters a dangerous alliance with an ancient entity in order to bring his teacher back. His search will lead to an unexpected meeting with people he has long considered enemies.

The heroes’ fates converge again, but the meeting is far from joyful. Personal resentments, ideological hatred, and magic that has slipped out of control threaten to destroy everything dear to them. Will they be able to unite in the face of the approaching catastrophe, or will the past prove stronger than any attempt at reconciliation?
