What happens when power in a country passes to “advanced democrats” who profess Western values? What happens is the rejection of the country’s independence. Why do we need an army if we aren’t fighting with anyone? Let those who know how to handle crime better—our colleagues from developed countries—fight it. Nothing terrible if they introduce their special units into the country’s territory—after all, they will come to help us! To eliminate national friction, we will give “fighters for national self-determination” what they want so badly—power in the places where they live. Western volunteers will help us defeat corruption—they will teach us how to manage our country properly. And all dissenters—Imperials, “bearers of fossil ideas about Russia’s imperial essence and opponents of progress.” Such people don’t even deserve a court, so there’s no need to take them alive…
