Earth and the Turtle

Earth and the Turtle is the fantastic novel by Vasily Sprinsky, the first book of the cycle “Ship of Freaks,” genre space fiction, science fiction, space opera. Two Earthlings are involuntarily thrown onto an interstellar yacht with a motley crew of alien punk musicians under the command of a pirate captain— a cyborg woman. A new life turned out to be anything but boring and full of adventures. After getting used to the ship, headed toward a free haven of galactic pirates, people discover a vast universe with all its wonders, oddities, and dangers. By a quirk of fate, a certain device ends up in the hero’s hands—one that shows the owner where desires that are held at the moment are fulfilled. But the previous high-ranking owner of the device, upset by its loss, wants to get it back at any cost.
