The Green Caps

After graduating from a border school, our contemporary travels to his grandfather—who was also a former border guard—to show off his first officer’s stripes and green cap. But the train arrives in the Soviet past, at the western border of the USSR right after the Molotov–Ribbentrop pact is signed.

For the “time traveler,” it will be necessary to build a new outpost on the banks of the Bug River, catch local nationalists, saboteurs, and German agents, and—most importantly—prepare his men for the approaching war, which no one is any longer able to prevent.
