The Testament of the One God

Erithea is a huge continent—an offshoot of an once enormous world destroyed long ago by the Archdemon. This catastrophe happened more than a thousand turns ago, when the New Gods came into the world. It was they who brought down the monster. Order held; the legions of chaos retreated, but the Enemy refused to accept defeat. Not long ago, Erithea was shaken by a chain of unexplained cataclysms. As a result, the continent was split by a wide strip of the Dead Land, and the Duchy of Kenai disappeared—where a foreign country appeared that never has summer.
Ronald Kenai—bastard and the only survivor of that catastrophe—must hide from the hounds of the Order of the Swordbearers, to whom his vanished father once swore loyalty. Asterlera Shinoma—the senior investigator of the Order in one of the southern port cities—during another investigation stumbles upon information about the legendary Temple of Elements, the main creation of the One—an entity that once breathed life into all inhabited worlds. Advancing the investigation leads the Enemy to send an assassin to Asta, and escape is impossible.
