The Frozen World

Sashka doesn’t even know how it happened that, with his own hands, he destroyed the dungeon in which an ancient elf had been imprisoned for many centuries. But when you’re faced with a choice—to help someone who’s gotten into trouble or to leave them alone with their problems—you don’t think too much; you just do what you’re asked. A few hundred years ago, Rogrik, a powerful elf, already tried to breach the boundary between worlds so that a swamp would pour into ours. Then the first people managed to lock him in the Underground—and now Rogrik’s dungeon has been destroyed. And he is capable of digging a tunnel and letting the swamp into our world.
