During a secret religious ritual in a remote part of Zimbabwe, an American diplomat disappears before hundreds of people. Special agent Gray is assigned to investigate the incident. Although he doesn’t believe in mysticism or the supernatural, he has to try to find a logical explanation for what happened. Through his trips and meetings with local residents, Gray realizes he’s dealing with a cruel cult with ancient roots, connected to unknown places in Africa. High priest N’anga is ready to destroy anyone who gets in his way—but Gray doesn’t intend to give up.
