Yoshida, an employee of a large IT company, falls in love with his colleague, Airi Goto. Five years later, he finally finds the courage to invite her on a date: a fun trip to the zoo, dinner at an expensive restaurant… The day that gave hope became a night of a broken heart. On the way home, drunk, sad, and rejected, Yoshida meets a lonely high-school girl, Sayo Ogivara. Without any beating around the bush, she proposes “that” in exchange for a place to sleep—but Yoshida, nobly refusing the offer, lets her stay the night for free.
The next morning, Sayo tells him how she ended up in Tokyo: she ran away from her parents in Hokkaido, and during her half-year journey she often offered her “services” in exchange for a roof over her head. Seeing the girl’s desperation and pain in her eyes, Yoshida allows her to stay for a while. From that day on, a new chapter opens in Sayo’s and Yoshida’s lives.
