“Can you even hear yourself?!” I couldn’t stand it. “You kicked me and your daughter out of the house just to go hang out—and now you show up like nothing happened!”
“Don’t shout. You’ll wake the child,” he scolded me with disdain. “Let’s go home.”
“No,” I answered firmly. “It’s impossible to live like this, Arthur. Until I see real changes, we’re not going back.”
“You know, you’ve changed too, Kira. And I want my old sweetie back. A beautiful, sexy little thing. And still, I’m willing to take you back—this one too.”
“You’re willing?!” I choked on anger. “Go to hell!”
“Okay, I’ll go,” he replied arrogantly. “I’ll go to Sochi to go skiing. I wanted to take you, but since you’re so proud… Think, Kira, think. You’ve got a week. And remember: a sacred place is never empty…”
A few days later I returned home for my things and found out why my husband had changed. He doesn’t want a divorce, but I will fight for myself, for my daughter, and for our future together!
