Young barefoot journalist Fletch never expected that, one fine day, he would accidentally get rich and become a co-owner of a major radio station. He also never expected that he would be invited to the post of press secretary for one of the candidates for the U.S. presidency. But the governor’s son, Wheeler—the former colleague of Fletch—invited him for a reason. At the hotels where the governor’s motorcade stays, bodies of beaten women are found. What is this—atrocities committed by a maniac, or a provocation by competitors?
Now Fletch must find the killer himself, because the uproar around the official investigation will put an end to the election campaign.
