The Unknown Enemy

On an unknown land live dozens of clans of forest dwellers. Each of them is like a family of hundreds of people—every member has their own place and calling. They believe in the Great Allfather and follow his commandments. “Tverdyslavichi” is one of such clans. Their chief enchantress, Jeiana the Wrathful, has the gift of gathering all the magical power of her kin into one whole and striking their enemies with it. And this power will be very useful to her, because the seers of Snake Hill, who periodically attack settlements, lead the forest unclean with them. These creatures have armor like metal that magic cannot break. And the black blood flowing from these monsters is nothing other than machine oil… But these concepts are still unknown to the forest people. The clan leader Tverdyslav and Jeiana must set out to search for the source of evil and learn that beyond their lands there is another world—where someone watches over their kin—and that life within the clan is nothing more than an illusion of freedom.
