The Rebirth of the Dark One

“The Rebirth of the Dark One” is a fantasy about social inequality and revenge in Chinese settings, telling the story of the formation of a villainess. The story is inspired by Daenerys and by a great love for Chinese dramas. The Zhao Empire is an alternative China of the past—a place with established traditions and orders. The Light faction rules there—legendary heroes with white hair—and representatives of the Dark faction, red-eyed demons, are persecuted by law. Zhiwei, a transmigrator, gets the worst possible situation in this world, and she has no plans to save the world—or even herself. She only wants revenge.
