Thirty years ago, eight-year-old Josie Masters witnessed the abduction of seven-year-old Dylan Jones. The boy was taken by the hand right during the fair’s carnival by a clown with red hair. Josie tried to get the attention of the people around her, but by the time she finally succeeded, it was already too late. The clown and Dylan disappeared. The boy was never found.
Years later, police detective Josie Masters still feels guilty that she wasn’t able to save the boy back then. When, in an old abandoned house, they discover a child’s remains and nearly completely rotted scraps of a T-shirt like the one Dylan wore, hope appears that the criminal can be identified.
